Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, CFP, B Ed.
Student Infant Massage Educator.
For a number of years, my chronic pain was so debilitating, I was unable to walk without crutches: I know what its like to live with chronic pain.
. . . so I know what it's like to have tried all the "usual" modalities to help my situation.
. . . and what it's like to live without a straightforward diagnosis, and struggle each day with pain.
Through a synergy of dedicated work with the Feldenkrais Method® and Meditation finally, slowly, the changes that allow me to lead a full and energetic life came about.
I began my training in 2010, and Graduated from the Melbourne 4 training program in 2014. I have been teaching ATM (Awareness through Movement) since 2011, and working in my private practice with individual clients since my graduation.
My personal journey with the Feldenkrais Method® gives me a strong passion for working with others to facilitate learning new more effective and efficient, pain free ways to move.
I love what the Feldenkrais Method® has been able to do for me and those I teach and treat. In my time off I love to travel: most years to Ireland to visit my husband's family: most recently I have been in Tibet: another lesson in compassion and spaciousness. I walk my scruffy Irish Terrier, Ruby, in the bush of Knocklofty, go Salsa dancing a couple of times each week, and love my weekly meditation sessions.
Im delighted to be adding another skill to my repertoire, and am currently in training to be an Infant Massage Educator, in Cue-based Infant Massage.
